Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for workforce use.
- Modify FOSS to support customer use cases and maintain customer-facing production infrastructure and applications.
- Engage customers to elicit requirements and develop solutions for complex or underspecified needs.
- Serve as technical lead for AI Tools and Applications initiatives and coordinate work across integrated teams.
- Coach and support assigned team members while managing multiple junior developers.
- Establish technical policies, standards, and governance frameworks and drive adoption of new technologies and practices.
- Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, observability, availability, reliability, performance, and security for AI services.
- Act as the team point of contact for contract administration and communicate with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or an additional four years of experience in place of the degree.
- At least 12 years of software development experience.
- Expertise in UI/UX principles and mastery of Python.
- Significant experience using LLMs as part of a code-solution workflow and developing and maintaining production software.
- Experience with Kubernetes/Helm, Docker and containerization, and production support using SRE best practices.
- Experience or familiarity with AWS or another cloud service provider and Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks.
- Willingness to learn, lead a team, manage junior developers, communicate effectively, and learn new technologies quickly.
