Base Salary

$170k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for workforce use.
Modify FOSS to support customer use cases and maintain customer-facing production infrastructure and applications.
Engage customers to elicit requirements and develop solutions for complex or underspecified needs.
Serve as technical lead for AI Tools and Applications initiatives and coordinate work across integrated teams.
Coach and support assigned team members while managing multiple junior developers.
Establish technical policies, standards, and governance frameworks and drive adoption of new technologies and practices.
Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, observability, availability, reliability, performance, and security for AI services.
Act as the team point of contact for contract administration and communicate with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or an additional four years of experience in place of the degree.
At least 12 years of software development experience.
Expertise in UI/UX principles and mastery of Python.
Significant experience using LLMs as part of a code-solution workflow and developing and maintaining production software.
Experience with Kubernetes/Helm, Docker and containerization, and production support using SRE best practices.
Experience or familiarity with AWS or another cloud service provider and Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks.
Willingness to learn, lead a team, manage junior developers, communicate effectively, and learn new technologies quickly.
