Responsibilities
- Implement CI/CD and DevSecOps execution plans, including automated builds, releases, and configuration management.
- Design, develop, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Integrate tools including Jira, Jenkins, Selenium, Ansible, GitLab, and Docker into the enterprise DevSecOps architecture.
- Support security architecture, data and environment separation, role separation, and compliance with Navy policies.
- Document CI/CD strategy, data flows, technical architecture, roadmaps, schedules, risks, and status updates.
- Collaborate with software development, integration, cybersecurity, operations, leadership, and subject-matter-expert teams.
- Facilitate automated code-analysis validation and monitor DevSecOps implementation across a matrixed team.
Requirements
- Fully adjudicated Department of Defense T5 background check and Top Secret clearance required at start.
- U.S. citizenship required for the federal clearance requirement.
- Security+ certification, or CCNA-Security, SSCP, CySA+, or GICSP, required at start.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or an equivalent cloud-environment certification must be held or obtained within three months.
- Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of prior relevant DevSecOps experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation, cloud environments and deployments, network stacks and protocols, Docker or similar containers, Terraform, AWS cloud services, GitLab, and modern development tools.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Preferred experience includes Ansible, Java, J2EE, Oracle, WebLogic, Tomcat, Jenkins, Jira, Nexus, Maven, OpenShift, SonarQube, Fortify, JUnit, Karma, Selenium, Cypress, Artifactory, Splunk, MuleSoft, Salesforce, Angular, ReactJS, Spring MVC, jQuery, JSF, JSP, MyBatis, Hibernate, IBM MQ, Kafka, ELK, Grafana, PL/SQL, VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, and Kubernetes troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include network and cybersecurity engineering, NIST SP 800 series or ISO 27000 series experience, ITIL, ISO 20000/ISO 27001 implementations, and Navy IT project experience.
