Responsibilities
- Develop and define solution architectures for projects and business initiatives.
- Provide architecture consultancy, technical guidance, and assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure applications and IT solutions comply with architecture standards, principles, governance requirements, and reference architectures.
- Translate business requirements and architecture guidelines into scalable, practical technology solutions.
- Identify technical challenges, recommend technologies, and optimize existing IT systems and applications.
- Support the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies and innovative solutions.
- Document architecture decisions and reusable architecture artefacts.
- Work with project teams, developers, IT specialists, business stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and external parties.
- Present recommendations to senior stakeholders and explain complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coach, mentor, and share knowledge with other technology professionals.
- Provide subject matter expertise and challenge proposed solutions when appropriate.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Solution Architecture, IT Architecture, or Technical Architecture.
- Proven experience designing and assuring complex IT or application solutions.
- Experience with architecture standards, principles, governance, and reference architectures.
- Strong understanding of modern IT and technology landscapes.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience advising project teams and identifying opportunities for technology optimization and innovation.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other technology professionals is preferred.
- Experience with architecture modeling and documentation tools such as IBM System Architect, PowerDesigner, or ProVision is advantageous.
