Base Salary
$189k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end across multiple layers of architecture.
- Architect and develop scalable applications and systems using durable, secure, maintainable software solutions.
- Provide recommendations and best practices for application development, platform development, and developer tools.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to employees, customers, management, and executives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance applications with AI, launch AI integrations in production, and evaluate their effects using appropriate metrics.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on software engineering practices, AI-enabled application development, and technical growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
- Experience writing scalable application code and applying algorithms, design patterns, accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation practices.
- Proficiency with mid-tier languages such as Java and experience with relational database design, SQL, NoSQL, and analytics.
- Experience with test automation and unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Experience developing applications with microservices, container technologies, Kubernetes, or Mesos.
- Experience building and deploying applications and services in cloud environments and interest in building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building or integrating functional AI models using techniques such as LLM prompting and AutoML modeling.
- Experience evaluating and monitoring production AI performance and leading AI integration efforts.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
