Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software features for next-generation Annapurna Labs networking hardware.
  • Enable high network bandwidth and packets-per-second performance with consistently low latency.
  • Bring up a broad selection of instance types optimized for different CPU, memory, storage, and networking configurations.
  • Contribute to architecture definitions and software system designs.
  • Resolve complex customer issues, monitor AWS cloud health, maintain quality standards, and develop highly optimized code.
  • Develop support for networking frameworks and communication libraries used by EC2 distributed AI/ML systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Strong C/C++ skills.
  • Preferred experience with embedded software development and Linux environments.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with hardware/software interfaces at the board and chip level.
  • Preferred understanding of computer architecture.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and learn quickly.
