Responsibilities
- Build new features and user interfaces for Restream web services.
- Design and implement UI and business logic for new and existing features.
- Partner with product designers to create user-friendly UI/UX.
- Participate in team code reviews and provide and receive feedback.
- Improve system reliability and identify opportunities involving emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers in a small, high-impact team.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a scrappy, entrepreneurial approach and ability to deliver high-quality projects quickly.
- Have strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and focus on excellent user experiences.
- Possess strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and newer ECMAScript specifications.
- Have expert knowledge of React and major state management systems.
- Have experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS.
- Have basic backend skills, including Node.js, API development, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Be comfortable with MobX, AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous deployment workflows.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be self-directed, analytical, and collaborative.
