Responsibilities
- Work with a team of engineers on new projects and existing code.
- Build back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for products.
- Drive the development process including design, coding, and testing.
- Provide estimates and evaluate new platforms for project implementations.
- Collaborate across teams to design and release products.
- Mentor teammates and share knowledge.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent programming skills in an object-oriented language.
- Experience with web development tools including SQL, caching, APIs, Javascript, and CSS.
- Experience in building and monitoring resilient systems.
- Strong communication and analytical-reasoning skills.
- Passion for improving education through technology.
