Responsibilities
- Develop responsive SAPUI5 applications using MVC architecture, component-based patterns, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, and standard UI5 structures.
- Implement OData-first data flows, service mocking, client-side models, bindings, and scalable interaction patterns.
- Build LLM-integrated, tool-augmented, retrieval-grounded AI experiences with user confirmations, safe action boundaries, and deterministic fallbacks.
- Apply SAP Fiori design principles and understand SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 positioning for enterprise delivery.
- Create automated UI test coverage using unit and acceptance testing approaches such as QUnit and OPA-style testing.
- Optimize performance, maintainability, accessibility, security, reliability, observability, and regression coverage.
- Prototype, demonstrate, and iterate with business stakeholders before hardening solutions for production.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on SAPUI5 development and enterprise UI engineering experience.
- Mastery of MVC architecture, responsive UI construction, and component-driven SAPUI5 development.
- Solid experience with OData and service mocking for development and testing.
- Strong JavaScript, JSON, CSS, and Git-based collaboration skills.
- Ability to design AI-native UX integrating LLM behaviors, grounding, tool use, and evaluation loops.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori design principles, UI testing approaches, and SAPUI5 versus OpenUI5 considerations.
