Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements for ML-powered features into technical specifications and design documents.
- Collaborate with data scientists to assess technical feasibility and scalability of ML features.
- Develop back-office configuration APIs, high-performance serving endpoints, ML models, algorithms, and data pipelines.
- Deploy, monitor, integrate, and optimize ML-powered features in production.
- Perform unit, integration, model-quality, and A/B testing and implement monitoring dashboards for accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to DevOps and MLOps practices, workflow automation, and efficient delivery from ideation through production.
- Maintain end-to-end components including APIs, models, definitions, and serving systems.
- Provide L3 support, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, implement enhancements, and document code and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Proven Python engineering experience focused on designing and maintaining AI/ML-powered production features.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS and services used for ML development and deployment.
- Understanding of software architecture for scalable and reliable APIs and microservices.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks, libraries, and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience with predictions, contextual bandits, autosegmentation, MLOps, large-scale data processing, model training, or ML pipelines is beneficial.
- Strong learning, collaboration, communication, initiative, quality, and continuous-improvement orientation.
