Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert on one or more DTCC applications.
- Work with business system analysts to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
- Tune application performance and research technical solutions aligned with DTCC standards.
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and provide production support for software applications.
- Create applications and unit test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved development practices.
- Monitor and mitigate technology risk through established risk and control processes.
- Support development teams and collaborate with architects, product managers, project managers, peers, and end users.
Requirements
- At least six years of related experience; the posting also states a minimum of eight years of related experience in its success profile.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; the posting also states a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of liquidity business processes and strong understanding of NSCC liquidity systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Python, with working knowledge of pandas and boto3.
- Strong SQL and SQL database knowledge, including Snowflake and Oracle.
- Knowledge of Angular and JavaScript technologies.
- Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and DevOps tools and concepts.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, KMI, IAM, and VPC.
- Experience with Unix, OpenShift Container Platform, and general network technologies.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, persistence, and ability to build organizational influence.
