Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test applications, APIs, microservices, and backend services.
- Develop data integrations and services connecting applications with enterprise data.
- Contribute to AI and Generative AI solutions, including LLM-powered applications, retrieval-augmented generation, and automation.
- Deploy and troubleshoot cloud-native solutions using code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Contribute to software solutions that improve healthcare quality, affordability, and outcomes.
- Participate in community service, professional development workshops, mentorship, networking, leadership sessions, and the Intern Innovation Challenge.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience using Python to build software applications.
- Hands-on development experience with REST APIs, microservices, or backend services.
- Experience using SQL or relational databases to query and manage data.
- Experience building solutions using LLM or Generative AI technologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Preferred: familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Java or JavaScript frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, React, or Angular, data pipelines, AI coding assistants, and agentic developer tools.
- Preferred: strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
