Base Salary
$232k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with Uber’s ML platform to design customized solutions for autonomous-vehicle use cases.
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure across multiple regions and cloud providers.
- Lead stakeholder alignment with Uber infrastructure teams and AV Labs teams.
- Drive efficiency efforts on GPUs.
- Execute technical projects from conception to production and identify, solve, and implement fixes for technical issues.
Requirements
- Minimum six years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience executing technical projects from conception to production.
- Familiarity with GPU technologies including CUDA, TensorRT, and GPU optimization.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for compute cluster management.
- Familiarity with Flyte or Airflow for batch orchestration.
- Familiarity with Ray for distributed batch processing.
- A master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience on ML platform teams at large companies is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of USD $232,000 to $258,000, plus eligibility for Uber’s bonus program and possible equity awards and other compensation.
- Eligibility for a 401(k) plan and various benefits.
- The role is based in Sunnyvale, California.
