Responsibilities
- Analyze technology options and feasibility and define application build, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Provide leadership in implementing secure, robust, and highly available DevOps pipelines.
- Automate build and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, QA, and project managers throughout the software lifecycle.
- Implement push-button deployment at scale with zero downtime.
- Manage and troubleshoot large-scale production infrastructure and system performance issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field with 3+ years of experience.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, and Gradle.
- Strong development and debugging skills in Java, GoLang, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or AliCloud.
- Experience with REST, JSON, or similar protocols and building automation tools or web applications.
- Preferred experience managing clusters of hundreds to thousands of machines and zero-downtime deployments.
- Familiarity with Linux internals, filesystems, networking, Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, and Envoy.
- Experience using Splunk for monitoring and investigation.
- Working knowledge of CVEs, OWASP, and cloud security/compliance.
