Base Salary
$160k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and deploy deep learning models, including OCR, vision-language, and detection models for document understanding and layout analysis.
- Develop and refine machine learning models in collaboration with engineering teams and end users.
- Build and optimize production data pipelines and software systems for training, inference, labeling, and evaluation.
- Combine open-source solutions and novel research to create computer vision systems for manufacturing applications.
- Design, build, and scale machine learning systems end to end for automated Design for Manufacturing analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline, or an equivalent amount of deep learning experience.
- 5+ years of experience in computer vision and/or machine learning, including ownership across the entire ML lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Python, OpenCV, SQL, and one or more deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with detection and segmentation models, exploratory analysis, model selection, and hyperparameter tuning is preferred.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science focused on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning is preferred.
- Experience with aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and 3D/CAD/CAM data is preferred.
- Strong software engineering skills and web development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, plus familiarity with FastAPI or Express, are preferred.
- Experience with distributed training using cloud infrastructure, visual document understanding, layout analysis, multimodal deep learning models, published research, or startup environments is preferred.
- Candidates must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements.
