Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML-enabled applications focused on agent-based workflows, LLM integration, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Design and support agent application architectures covering orchestration, tool use, memory management, and external-system integrations.
- Implement and maintain RAG pipelines, including document processing, embedding generation, retrieval configuration, prompt assembly, and response optimization.
- Integrate LLMs through APIs, AI frameworks, and protocols such as MCP.
- Develop and maintain Python-based services and REST APIs for data retrieval, system integration, agent workflows, and application functionality.
- Support full-stack development of production-ready AI applications, including backend services, user-facing components, and enterprise deployment considerations.
- Process and transform structured and unstructured data and refine Postgres schemas and data models.
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, usability, maintainability, and enterprise scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related area of study.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 7 years with a master’s degree, or 6 years with a doctorate.
- Active/current TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with required polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to work onsite full time.
- Proficiency in Python and common data and AI libraries.
- Experience developing AI/ML applications, including LLM-integrated applications or RAG and retrieval-based workflows.
- Experience with agent-based programming, AI frameworks, and tool-based LLM application development.
- Strong understanding of transformers, algorithms, LLM behavior, data processing, and model integration patterns.
- Experience designing, developing, or integrating REST APIs across systems.
- Familiarity with production application reliability, maintainability, testing, and deployment practices.
- Preferred experience includes MCP or similar protocols, full-stack agent applications, FastAPI or Flask, LLM memory management, agent optimization, vector databases, embedding models, semantic search, Docker, AWS, Postgres, and structured or unstructured data processing.
