Software Engineering Developer, DevOps

- Design, implement, and manage automated software delivery pipelines.
- Build and manage cloud-agnostic infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.
- Operate containerized applications and orchestration environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems.
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues while maintaining availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Evaluate and deploy tools supporting DevOps automation transformation.
- Apply security hardening, compliance measures, and DevSecOps practices.
- Configure and maintain networks, devices, virtualized environments, and cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Integrate and automate provisioning, configuration, and management of development and operational tools.
- Write deployment and automation scripts and develop automated tests for new and updated functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical or engineering discipline.
- At least 4 years of DevOps experience.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Prometheus, Grafana, and Git.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking concepts, software development life cycle practices, and virtualized environments.
- Experience working across at least two major cloud platforms among AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, recommend options, implement solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and familiarity with test automation tools are preferred.
- Exposure to Agile environments and familiarity with AI/ML models are preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain applicable Canadian government security clearances.
