Base Salary
$130k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the core Kubernetes-based Nexus Dashboard infrastructure for high availability and performance.
- Manage the full lifecycle of multi-node clusters, including automated installation, configuration, and inline software upgrades across physical and virtual form factors.
- Develop infrastructure services for backup and restore, automated anomaly detection, and comprehensive audit logging.
- Implement centralized authentication and authorization and manage end-to-end certificate lifecycles for cluster and microservice communications.
- Optimize platform scalability and resource efficiency in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Design and implement robust test plans covering software quality, reliability, and use-case coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience or a master’s degree plus 4 years of related experience.
- Programming experience with Go and Python, including use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience rapidly prototyping AI solutions and engineering AI workflows and agents.
- Experience developing, deploying, and managing microservices on Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing robust software test plans.
- Preferred: proficiency with Linux system internals, including process management, file systems, and networking.
- Preferred: understanding of distributed databases and messaging systems such as PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Kafka.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Benefits
- Starting salary range is $130,400.00 to $181,400.00 for U.S. and/or Canada locations, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
- Additional location-specific salary ranges are listed for the New York City Metro Area, non-metro New York state, and Washington state.
