Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs for creator authorization systems.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplined teams on complex problems across Spotify's verticals.
- Maintain business-critical authorization systems, ensuring high availability and stability.
- Promote sound engineering practices and contribute to high-quality, scalable systems.
- Share knowledge and mentor other engineers to foster a learning culture.
- Leverage AI to improve systems and automate tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Java and SQL.
- Familiarity with React, Typescript, and Next.js is preferred.
- Strong understanding of server-side and client-side development.
- Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Collaborative teammate valuing inclusion and open communication.
- Understanding of the authorization domain and eagerness to learn.
