Base Salary
$155k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement signal processing techniques for sensor data acquisition, fusion, and filtering.
- Develop systems that transform raw camera, LiDAR, radar, and other sensor data into useful autonomous-driving signals.
- Optimize signal processing algorithms for CPU, GPU, DSP, and specialized accelerator architectures.
- Build rapid prototypes and production-quality software for high-throughput, latency-sensitive systems.
- Collaborate with autonomy and hardware teams to ensure system robustness.
- Contribute to research papers submitted to top conferences and journals.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of classical and learning-based signal processing, including filtering, estimation, image denoising, super-resolution, and 2D/3D segmentation.
- Experience developing real-time, high-throughput algorithms under limited compute and memory budgets.
- Ability to prototype in Python, Julia, or MATLAB and develop production-quality software.
- Preferred experience in audio, image, point-cloud, or radar signal processing.
- Preferred experience with numerical algorithms and optimization, including BLAS, CHOLMOD, Gauss-Newton, L-BFGS, and linear programming.
- Preferred experience with causal and recursive filters, recurrent neural networks, transformers, systems programming, hardware accelerators, and performance optimization.
