Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end SAP solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards, SAP best practices, integration patterns, and data models.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient integrations across SAP S/4HANA or ECC, finance, procurement, reporting, and third-party systems.
- Use standard SAP APIs, events, and SAP Integration Suite while enforcing Clean Core and side-by-side extension principles.
- Translate business requirements into architecture designs, solution blueprints, technical specifications, and decision papers.
- Serve as the design authority by reviewing and approving functional designs, integrations, and configuration changes.
- Identify architectural risks and technical debt and define mitigation strategies.
- Support security, compliance, and audit requirements for procurement systems.
- Guide implementation teams, system integrators, vendors, product owners, and business stakeholders through SAP transformation initiatives.
- Support cutovers, go-lives, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Act as the architecture liaison among IT, procurement, finance, and external partners and mentor technical and functional team members.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of SAP architecture experience with strong hands-on SAP expertise.
- Experience architecting SAP solutions in large, complex enterprise environments and integrating SAP products with SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
- Experience designing and building SAP BTP applications and extensions.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, IDocs, event-driven integration, Clean Core, side-by-side extensions, and SAP BTP concepts.
- Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
- Strong understanding of data, security, and authorization models in SAP landscapes.
- Experience creating and communicating architecture diagrams, solution designs, and decision papers within enterprise architecture governance frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills and comfort working across global, matrixed organizations.
- Preferred experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Signavio, LeanIX, enterprise process modeling tools, SAP RISE, or cloud-based SAP deployments.
- SAP certifications in Ariba, S/4HANA, Integration, or Architecture are preferred.
