Responsibilities
- Own the build, scaling, upgrades, daily operations, fault diagnosis, and performance tuning of large-scale production Kubernetes clusters.
- Operate, govern, optimize, and secure Alibaba Cloud and AWS resources across dual-cloud production environments.
- Lead containerization and cloud-native operational rollouts, including scheduling, resource quotas, networking, storage, image management, and service mesh operations.
- Build Kubernetes monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing systems and define operational runbooks, change processes, and incident response plans.
- Develop Shell and Python automation and integrate Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD for automated releases, inspections, backups, and operations.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices and improve operational efficiency while reducing manual errors.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and long-term cluster stability improvements.
- Document cloud-native and multi-cloud operations practices and help strengthen team capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a computer-related field.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience operating production-level Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes components, scheduling, networking, storage, multi-cluster management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Independent production experience operating Alibaba Cloud and AWS dual-cloud environments, including cloud deployment, operations, and disaster recovery.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration, system optimization, permission control, process management, log analysis, and online troubleshooting.
- Experience with container runtimes, CNI plugins, CSI, Istio or Envoy, service-mesh traffic governance, gray releases, and network interoperability.
- Strong Shell and Python automation skills and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or EFK, Jaeger, and SkyWalking.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with 100+ node public-cloud environments, multi-cloud cost optimization, Kubernetes security hardening, CKA or CKS certification, and AI/LLM workload scheduling.
- Applicants should have current authorization to work in Singapore and not require visa sponsorship from OKX.
