Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the Capacity and Quota Management control plane
- Develop a capacity reservation engine for guaranteed GPU reservations and their lifecycle
- Implement rebalancing and auto-reclamation logic
- Develop the Quotas Control Plane for managing quotas across Nebius services
- Handle customer quota requests and resource-distribution algorithms
- Provide APIs that give customers, internal users, and downstream services visibility and control over limits
- Define technical foundations and long-term tradeoffs for the platform
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of Python or willingness to quickly become productive with the technology stack
- Experience building distributed backend systems and microservice architectures
- Understanding of distributed transactions, consistency models, and reliable asynchronous workflows
- Strong communication and ownership mindset
