Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external Salesforce development teams to advise on change delivery and resolve deployment errors.
- Support Salesforce change and release processes, including production deployments, release readiness, and quality criteria.
- Maintain an overall view of environment utilization, support deployments, and upgrade packages.
- Improve training, documentation, quality standards, tool configurations, platform stability, and technical-debt reduction.
- Create and contribute to Standard Operating Procedures, Knowledge Articles, and Technotes.
- Review testing output, static code analysis results, and automated testing packs from quality gates.
- Identify industry trends, tools, techniques, and automation opportunities with partners and the wider community.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of demonstrated Salesforce platform experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps and release management.
- Demonstrated change and release management experience in a Salesforce environment.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, configuration, and change-management practices.
- Understanding of Salesforce development approaches and supporting ecosystem tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using products such as Copado.
- Experience operating within Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with IT architecture and infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal and partner-engagement skills.
- Preferred: financial services industry experience.
- Preferred: experience with ServiceNow, Dell Boomi, and Salesforce Managed Packages.
- Preferred: a DevOps mindset and a track record of collaborative delivery.
