Base Salary
$145k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope and deliver new software features for seller inventory processes.
- Maintain existing product surfaces by shipping improvements.
- Build data marts for inventory features to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Triage product or system issues and see them through to resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Be a member of an on-call rotation to support users.
- Build new features for users in live streams.
- Implement growth tactics and strategies to scale buyer and seller flows.
- Design, implement, and operate critical and scalable services.
- Introduce new techniques, tools, and architecture to improve system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- One year of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
- Experience with back-end programming languages such as Python or Elixir.
- Proficiency in relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience contributing to user-facing clients (React web page, Android, or iOS app).
- Familiarity with building products and scalable systems.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch, and NoSQL databases.
