Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver moderately complex software features in backend or frontend domains.
- Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Write scalable, reusable, high-quality code using software development best practices.
- Manage team meetings and RFC processes for proposed changes and improvements.
- Act as an initial on-call responder for team-managed software.
- Collaborate with teammates, support junior engineers, and mentor Software Engineers.
- Participate in hiring, prioritize intra-team plans, and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java programming, including modern language features and frameworks.
- At least 5 years of experience working with distributed architectures.
- Experience with Angular and JavaScript frontend development.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and SQL.
- At least 5 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle, database management, API integration, and tools such as Swagger.
- Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, version control, software testing, automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure coding practices.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and Agile development principles.
