Responsibilities
- Build and evolve core systems for client networking across mobile platforms.
- Refactor and modularize components in C++, Android, and iOS for scalability.
- Improve integration layers to simplify adoption across client applications.
- Design and implement observability solutions for end-to-end debugging.
- Lead migrations from legacy networking systems while ensuring stability.
- Balance development with maintaining reliability for active users.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers on priorities and delivery.
- Contribute to long-term architectural decisions and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile or infrastructure engineering with strong C++ expertise.
- Experience working across Android and/or iOS environments.
- Proven track record of building and shipping production-grade SDKs or mobile infrastructure components.
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals like HTTP/2+, WebSockets, and resilience patterns.
- Familiarity with real-time messaging systems such as PubSub or WebSocket architectures.
- Confidence in debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance across native layers.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and modularization at scale.
- Comfortable in a forming team environment with evolving scope.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
