Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain on-sensor Go and Python services, including daemons, configuration managers, upgrade pipelines, and tunneling infrastructure.
  • Own AWS infrastructure for sensor management, including ECS services, CloudFormation stacks, EC2 instances, S3 artifact pipelines, and CloudWatch observability.
  • Improve CI/CD systems using Jenkins, Docker build environments, and Robot Framework tests for virtual sensors.
  • Debug kernel networking, VM orchestration, Ansible-based provisioning, and production incidents using CloudWatch Logs Insights.
  • Automate sensor upgrades and deployments through Ansible, Debian packaging, and manifest-driven rollouts.
  • Work across sensor-kernel components and AWS ECS services that expose REST APIs to the portal.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience with EC2, ECS, Fargate, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation or CDK, and IAM.
  • Proficiency in Python for production services, CLI tooling, and test automation with Robot Framework or pytest.
  • Comfort with Linux systems programming, systemd, networking, Debian packaging, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and Docker-based build environments.
  • Strong debugging ability, including tracing production issues from CloudWatch logs to code-level root causes.
  • Preferred experience with Ansible, advanced networking, eBPF/XDP, kernel networking, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, sensor or appliance software, or embedded Linux.
