Offensive Security- Red Team
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Run hands-on red team operations simulating real-world attackers across applications, cloud, and enterprise environments.
- Design and execute end-to-end attack campaigns, including bypassing security controls and abusing identity, access, and trust relationships.
- Partner with Detection and Response, Incident Response, and Engineering teams to test alerts and response workflows.
- Explain attack paths, root causes, defensive failures, and risk-reducing fixes clearly.
- Improve red team tools, automation, and techniques with the AI-Automation team.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience in offensive security, red teaming, or advanced penetration testing in production-like environments.
- Understand attacker methods, identity and access abuse, and attack chains across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Write custom scripts, tools, or payloads and demonstrate skill in manual exploitation.
- Communicate clearly about attack execution, defensive failures, and effective remediation.
- Have a degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include continuous or programmatic red team operations, adversary emulation, purple team work, malware analysis, exploit development, vulnerability research, responsible disclosures, security publications or talks, and knowledge of cloud-native architectures and identity-centric security models.
