Responsibilities
- Own SAP SD Customer Contract Management module design, configuration decisions, estimates, sequencing, and deliverables through cutover.
- Configure value contracts, quantity contracts, master contracts, scheduling agreements, release order processing, completion rules, and contract lifecycle operations.
- Configure entitlement and consumption monitoring, including open quantity and value tracking, over-release handling, expiry behavior, and release monitoring.
- Configure contract-level pricing and ensure commercial terms flow correctly through release orders, deliveries, and billing.
- Diagnose configuration, data, and integration issues across pricing, order management, billing, and document flow.
- Lead workstream delivery against milestones, including quality gates, specifications, test evidence, defect containment, integration testing, and cutover.
- Build reusable AI prompts and accelerators for test generation, variance analysis, and configuration comparison, with defined validation standards.
- Use SAP Joule for Consultants, curate module grounding content, and specify Joule agent use cases for implementation by the AI capability team.
- Lead, allocate work to, mentor, and review deliverables from a small delivery team.
- Lead requirements and design workshops, manage business process owner relationships, present options and risks, and defend committed scope.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in the primary SAP SD skill.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Deep SAP SD contract configuration experience with value contracts, quantity contracts, master contracts, scheduling agreements, and release order processing in SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
- Deep expertise in copy control and document flow from contract through order, delivery, and billing, including completion and incompletion behavior.
- Strong knowledge of contract-level condition technique, agreement-specific pricing conditions, validity, entitlement monitoring, and contract expiry controls.
- Current and continuous hands-on configuration experience, with no sustained break from build activity in the last 18 months.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of SAP module workstreams, including estimation, milestones, defect management, integration testing, and cutover, across at least two full-lifecycle implementations or large rollouts.
- Demonstrated leadership of a small delivery team and ownership of business stakeholder relationships, including contested scope discussions.
- Demonstrated AI-assisted delivery adoption through reusable prompts, accelerators, automation, or codified playbooks adopted by others, with validation of generated output.
- Working use of SAP Joule for Consultants or the ability to achieve working proficiency within 90 days of joining.
- Preferred experience includes SAP S/4HANA Service contracts, SAP Subscription Billing, SAP CPQ, ECC-to-S/4HANA contract data conversion, and rebate or condition contract settlement scenarios.
