Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, maintain, and scale hybrid, data-driven, and keyword-driven automation frameworks using Playwright with Java and/or TypeScript.
- Author comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex, multi-tier applications.
- Drive shift-left testing and collaborate with developers on unit, component, and integration automation.
- Lead testing strategies across multiple concurrent projects, product lines, or business initiatives.
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Integrate Playwright automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.
- Oversee test data and test environment creation, maintenance, and mocking.
- Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and optimize testing methodologies and release processes.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of automation QA or quality engineering expertise.
- Expertise designing and scaling automation frameworks with Playwright.
- Proficiency with Java and/or TypeScript.
- Experience creating high-level test plans and test strategies for complex, multi-tier applications.
- Experience with shift-left testing and unit, component, and integration-level automation.
- Ability to manage testing strategies across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
- Experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab pipelines.
- Strong mentoring, collaboration, code review, and quality leadership capabilities.
