Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Nexus, Jenkins, Ansible Automation Platform, and SonarQube.
- Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, security, and compliance of the DevOps toolchain.
- Plan and execute upgrades and patches for tools and underlying infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for configuration, deployment, monitoring, and workflow optimization.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting, and troubleshoot tool integrations, performance, and access issues.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, upgrade procedures, and compliance checks.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for development and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and tool administration.
- Strong expertise in Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Nexus Repository Manager, Jenkins, Ansible, and SonarQube.
- Experience managing upgrades and ensuring secure, compliant tool versions.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and Shell, Python, or Groovy scripting.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- DevOps or Red Hat certifications are advantageous.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferable.
