Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, monitor, and optimize secure cloud security architectures across GCP, Azure, and AWS.
  • Review and resolve SIEM and other security-system alerts as part of Level-2 security operations support.
  • Create network, architecture, data-flow, and other security artifacts for customer requests.
  • Secure SaaS applications through IAM, encryption, API security, and configuration baselines.
  • Lead firewall reviews, access reviews, system reviews, risk assessments, compliance initiatives, and gap analyses.
  • Support incident response and remediation, lead Incident Response Plan initiatives, and maintain related documentation.
  • Advise customers through calls, presentations, workshops, questionnaires, and technical guidance.
  • Research emerging cloud security threats, technologies, and best practices.
  • Provide operational coverage Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT and participate in evening or weekend on-call shifts when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive cloud security experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience securing, configuring, and supporting Azure and GCP cloud environments.
  • At least 4 years of experience supporting a security operations center, managing alerts, configuring SIEMs, and creating custom alerts with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Required CISSP certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP security services, Entra ID, SaaS security, scripting, network security, and multi-cloud IAM.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, and related compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, project management, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Preferred experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps.
