Base Salary
$70k - $121k/yr
Responsibilities
- Coordinate accessibility evaluations of ArcGIS products, focusing on desktop software.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify accessibility issues.
- Create and maintain Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) based on VPATs.
- Influence accessibility testing best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Coordinate testing, monitoring, and maintenance of accessibility testing tools and systems.
- Maintain and update internal accessibility resources and materials.
- Conduct internal accessibility testing events.
- Communicate accessibility practices to external audiences through presentations and publications.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant experience in accessibility.
- Familiarity with global accessibility standards and guidelines such as WCAG and Revised Section 508.
- Experience with accessibility testing on at least one software platform.
- Proficient in manual/automated accessibility evaluation using various testing tools.
- Experience creating or contributing to Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, user experience, or a related field.
