Java Tech Lead - Cash Confirmations (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
- Contribute to target-state architecture and modernization roadmaps for cash-confirmation platforms.
- Drive cloud adoption, event-driven architecture, distributed processing, and platform resiliency improvements.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on trade-confirmation generation, exception processing, client delivery channels, regulatory requirements, and market-infrastructure integrations.
- Translate confirmation-processing requirements into scalable technical solutions with business and operations stakeholders.
- Guide teams on performance, scalability, capacity management, disaster recovery, monitoring, observability, and production readiness.
- Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments through architectural guidance, documentation, and remediation plans.
- Provide technical leadership during critical production incidents and major platform-transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise software engineering and distributed-systems experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience designing and governing large-scale, low-latency transaction-processing platforms, preferably in financial services.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including presenting technology strategy to senior leadership.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure production and delivery environments.
- Strong exposure to AI-assisted software development, engineering-productivity tooling, and intelligent operational platforms.
- Ability to diagnose production issues and steer teams during high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
- Knowledge of both French and English is required.
