Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain desktop engineering tools using C#, .NET, and WPF.
- Own requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.
- Design scalable architectures using MVVM, dependency injection, MEF, and plug-in-based frameworks.
- Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and common capabilities to improve engineering productivity.
- Implement unit testing, integration testing, GUI automation, and software quality practices.
- Review code, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and uphold clean-code and design principles.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, build automation, software packaging, and release management.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand workflows and deliver efficient software solutions.
- Evaluate technologies and contribute to UI/UX, visualization, and applicable 3D or interactive engineering solutions.
- Mentor colleagues and participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of software development experience, preferably in engineering, automotive, tooling, or similar technical environments.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, WPF, and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience with MVVM, data binding, commands, dependency injection, and UI design patterns.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Experience developing modular, extensible, and plug-in-based applications.
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, GUI automation, and test frameworks.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, CodeBeamer, or similar version-control and requirements-management tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployment, and release processes.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive technical solutions.
- Experience with code reviews, technical discussions, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience with Blender, Unity, 3D visualization, Python scripting, APIs, databases, automation frameworks, or AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage.
