Base Salary
$87k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with a small team on cutting-edge research and development projects.
- Design and develop software using current open-source technologies.
- Develop and transition artificial intelligence and middleware solutions into operational use.
- Incorporate feedback from end users, field tests, and exercises.
- Explore technical possibilities collaboratively and deliver practical solutions to complex problems.
- Build rapid prototypes and address system engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Java and cloud integration technologies such as Spring Boot, Docker, and Helm.
- Experience with and technical understanding of technologies used to build agentic AI-based solutions, such as MCP and RAG.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- An active and existing TS/SCI DoD security clearance is required after day one.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include creative problem-solving, rapid prototyping, strong oral and written communication, software engineering practices, and the ability to overcome system engineering challenges.
