Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in architecture discussions, planning, and implementation.
- Research technical approaches and develop proof of concepts and minimum viable products.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise software, platforms, frameworks, and processes.
- Support services before launch through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Document projects and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales, and open-source communities.
- Maintain system capacity and performance and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- At least 10 years of experience writing software in Go, Python, Scala, or similar languages.
- Extensive experience with Go, Pulumi, Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated mastery of Linux and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to derive solutions from high-level or incomplete requirements and solve complex problems.
- High-performance or scientific computing experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
