Base Salary
$230k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and own the shared technical framework for Partner Integrations, including authentication lifecycle, event delivery, retries, idempotency, schema mapping, and observability.
- Implement the most technically demanding integrations involving complex authentication, high-volume event schemas, and sensitive customer data.
- Define and enforce reliability and observability standards through production-readiness checklists, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Maintain deep expertise in partner APIs and event models and serve as the technical reference for integration behavior.
- Mentor P3 and P4 engineers through architecture and code reviews and pairing.
- Own complex integration incidents, coordinate with partner engineering teams, diagnose root causes, and implement preventive fixes.
Requirements
- Require 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep specialization in production integrations, connectors, or API platforms.
- Require expert proficiency in Go or Python.
- Require expert knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and API key authentication, webhooks, idempotency, pagination, rate limiting, partial failure handling, and schema evolution.
- Require experience with distributed-systems reliability patterns such as at-least-once delivery, dead-letter queues, and circuit breakers.
- Require experience designing and operating integration observability using structured logging, metrics, alerting, and dashboards.
- Require comfort working in cloud-native and containerized environments, including Kubernetes and AWS.
- Require a track record of setting engineering standards, producing architecture documents, and driving technical decisions across teams and partner boundaries.
- Require experience mentoring mid-level engineers through design and code reviews.
- Preferred experience includes integrations with CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Splunk, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar enterprise security and ITSM platforms.
- Preferred qualifications include cybersecurity ecosystem knowledge, cross-platform field-mapping schema design, and familiarity with vendor marketplace certification and partner API agreement processes.
