Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, construct, test, implement, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, and applications development activities.
- Build Python data integration jobs and enhance frameworks in accordance with ETL standards.
- Develop and support large-scale file-based and streaming data pipelines using Kafka.
- Apply Git-based workflows, automated testing, artifact and version management, and environment promotion practices.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support business applications.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate business and system processes.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Document solutions and communicate findings through discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and storytelling.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience with application development and adherence to industry-standard SDLC guidelines.
- Experience building Python data integration jobs and enhancing ETL frameworks.
- Strong experience processing data at scale across file-based and streaming pipelines, including Kafka integration.
- Expertise with Git-based CI/CD workflows, automated testing, artifact and version management, and environment promotion.
- Practical experience using AI engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and code assistants or agents in daily development and reviews.
- Understanding of containers, including Docker, and deployment to cloud data platforms.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with working knowledge of consulting or project management techniques.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage deadlines and unexpected changes, communicate clearly to varied audiences, manage stakeholders, document work, and apply design-thinking practices.
