Responsibilities
- Deploy with customers globally, with approximately 50% travel, to support software integration and development.
- Develop AI and autonomy applications using Shield AI’s enterprise software development kit.
- Provide customer technical support, training, and assistance with software and API integration issues.
- Assist sales teams with pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, conferences, and immersions.
- Support post-sales deployment and integration of Shield AI enterprise software products.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve products.
- Provide technical leadership across engagements, drive cross-functional execution, and support successful delivery in complex environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field plus 7+ years of industry experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong technical background in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency writing modern C++ code.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience in defense, aviation, robotics, autonomy, customer-facing solutions engineering, application engineering, or sales engineering.
- An advanced technical degree, especially in robotics or autonomy-related fields, is preferred.
