Responsibilities
- Build authorization APIs, policy models and primitives for Box’s content access-control platform.
- Develop and operate high-scale, business-critical production services.
- Collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver complex projects.
- Participate in stand-ups, meetings, code reviews, sprint tracking and production on-call rotations.
- Communicate project milestones, respond to feedback and contribute to Box culture and internal representation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Experience building and operating high-scale, business-critical production services.
- Interest in security topics including authentication, identity and industry best practices.
- Ability to communicate and complete project milestones in a time-sensitive manner.
- Proficiency in English.
- Nice-to-have experience with Scala, PHP, Python, JavaScript or another modern software development language.
- Nice-to-have practical experience with GCP and Kubernetes.
