Responsibilities
- Drive technical solutions across teams from system design through deployment.
- Build and maintain backend services, insight systems, UI component libraries, documentation, and application integrations.
- Revamp existing tools and services for integration into developer workflows.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams, product management, and stakeholders to identify opportunities and define solutions.
- Operate owned systems, participate in the support and on-call rotation, and lead incident reviews.
Requirements
- Professional experience owning complex features from ideation through deployment.
- Expertise building backend systems and clean, well-documented APIs that integrate with platform services.
- Proficiency in frontend engineering, state management, reusable component libraries, and design systems.
- Ability to learn and extend in-house frameworks and services.
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, curiosity, and focus on developer experience.
- Experience using AI, AI coding tools, and agents in day-to-day development activities.
- Backend experience with Java, Go, or Python is a plus.
