Responsibilities
- Develop SAP S/4HANA solutions using ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, SAP Fiori/UI5, and OData services.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, coding standards, and delivery guidance for a team of 3–8 developers.
- Apply SAP Clean Core principles, released APIs, key-user extensibility, and side-by-side SAP BTP extensions.
- Translate solution designs into technical specifications, estimates, and implementation plans with architects and business process owners.
- Use SAP Joule, GitHub Copilot, Cline, and SAP Business AI capabilities to accelerate development and intelligent automation.
- Drive modern development, testing, performance optimization, and DevOps practices within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Conduct design reviews, support team upskilling, and provide Level 3 support for complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on SAP development experience focused on SAP S/4HANA.
- Expertise in ABAP OO, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, BAdIs, SAP Fiori/UI5, and OData services.
- Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core principles, tier-based extensibility, released APIs, and upgrade-safe development.
- Experience leading development teams in agile delivery environments with a record of high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and awareness of SAP Business AI offerings, including SAP AI Core and embedded S/4HANA AI scenarios.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, integration patterns, and SAP BTP extension scenarios.
- Familiarity with gCTS, ATC, abapGit, and Cloud ALM.
- Experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Commercial, or Analytics & Reporting is preferred.
- SAP certification in S/4HANA development is preferred.
