Base Salary
$100k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-throughput batch and streaming data pipelines using Kafka, Flink, and Spark.
- Develop scalable analytics engines, time-series and financial data models, and analytical database architectures.
- Build idempotent pipelines with backfill, reconciliation, monitoring, and data-quality capabilities for trading metrics.
- Design and operate internal AI platforms, including RAG pipelines, prompt-management tooling, evaluation frameworks, and self-service workflows.
- Create controllable and auditable production agent systems using LangGraph, A2A, and MCP.
- Support trading analytics involving PnL, risk, balances, trade reconciliation, visualization, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of production experience with both Python and Java in high-performance environments.
- Strong foundations in software engineering, system design, data structures, algorithms, data integrity, accuracy, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Linux, GitHub, AWS, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Advanced SQL skills, including window functions and query optimization, plus database design and real-time data synchronization experience.
- Experience with Airflow, Jenkins, AMPS, Kafka, Flink, and event processing in production.
- Experience evaluating retrieval systems, architecting and optimizing RAG pipelines, managing LLM lifecycles and prompts, and operating AI agent frameworks.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets in financial or trading contexts.
- Preferred qualifications include trading systems, quantitative finance, fintech, market data, cryptocurrency markets, DeFi, REST APIs, and WebSockets experience.
