Base Salary
$189k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve systems that dispatch distributed model-training jobs across clusters and multiple clouds.
- Deploy storage subsystems to improve dataset management and training-data throughput.
- Build infrastructure for executing and tracking model evaluations.
- Create tooling that integrates model training with telemetry, experiment tracking, checkpointing, and other internal infrastructure.
- Collaborate with AI scientists and engineers on infrastructure supporting thousands of GPUs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience building and deploying ML systems in production environments.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with infrastructure and operations tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Torch and Jax.
- Understanding of machine learning and the infrastructure requirements of large-scale model training.
- Experience leading technical projects and driving cross-functional execution.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
