Base Salary
$153k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex data science and analytics projects supporting process improvement, defect reduction, and predictive analytics
- Translate ambiguous business problems into machine learning workflows, including exploratory data analysis, deep learning model development, and embedded deployment
- Develop models and algorithms, recommend new or reusable code, implement version control, and maintain application documentation
- Define and implement ingestion, data preparation, curation, and governance for large, multifaceted datasets
- Assess current capabilities and propose improvements aligned with core strategy and operations
- Produce information products that support visualization and customer-centric data accessibility
- Evaluate technical advances that improve productivity and quality, reduce flow times, and enhance operational surety
- Develop guidelines and standards for analytics and machine learning models, deployment, and associated processes
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members
- Collaborate across teams and design software units for the team’s products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field plus 6+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience developing and testing machine learning or statistical projects
- Strong background in supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms and modeling
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience guiding less experienced team members
- Ability to develop data science models and algorithms using disciplined software development processes, version control, and documentation
- Ability to provide technical leadership, business process expertise, coaching, and mentoring
