Responsibilities
- Validate Security Center and related web and mobile applications for functionality, usability, stability, and reliability across platforms, browsers, and devices.
- Plan and execute manual functional, integration, regression, compatibility, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, track, and investigate defects while validating fixes with development teams.
- Perform cross-platform and cross-browser testing for responsive web and native or hybrid mobile applications.
- Create and maintain test cases, test results, test plans, defect reports, and QA process documentation.
- Participate in the software delivery lifecycle using Agile and Kanban methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, analysts, and product teams to improve product quality, usability, and testability.
- Assist with API and backend validation using Bruno, Postman, or similar tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards, governance, and testing practices.
Requirements
- Degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 1 year of professional quality assurance experience.
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
- Experience with Unix-based environments, including Linux or macOS, for testing support, troubleshooting, and issue investigation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to isolate, reproduce, and investigate defects.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing techniques.
- Ability to write clear and detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
- Fluency in French and English, both verbal and written.
- Preferred experience with Linux command-line troubleshooting, log analysis, service validation, and system configuration.
- Preferred experience with Android and iOS device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as cross-browser and responsive web testing.
- Preferred experience using Azure DevOps for bug tracking, test management, and collaboration.
- Preferred knowledge of networking principles, IP protocols, Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Microsoft SQL Server, relational databases, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, Bruno, Postman, Playwright, or Appium.
- Preferred knowledge of software security and secure testing practices.
