Responsibilities
- Define testing strategies, analyze requirements, and design test automation frameworks.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated unit, integration, system, regression, and performance tests.
- Ensure test coverage meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Write and maintain test plans, test specifications, and technical documentation.
- Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Manage dependencies associated with testing projects.
- Apply artificial intelligence tools and techniques to generate and prioritize test cases, analyze logs, detect anomalies, and predict defects.
- Analyze test results and participate in defect triage and investigation with development teams.
- Improve quality assurance practices, processes, and tools continuously.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- At least two years of relevant experience in software development or test automation.
- Experience in software quality assurance, testing methodologies, and automation design.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, version control systems, and related tools.
- Ability to prepare test plans, test specifications, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Windows or Linux environments is an asset.
- Interest in applying artificial intelligence to quality assurance is an asset.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary or distributed teams is an asset.
- French and English proficiency, with English required for communication with colleagues, partners, and customers outside Quebec.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, continuous-improvement, and quality-focused abilities.
