Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software, SDKs, APIs, and hardware abstraction layers for automotive platforms.
- Integrate inference, navigation, control, localisation, and vehicle-interface functions into autonomous driving systems.
- Develop across Linux and QNX systems while minimizing platform-specific customization.
- Debug and improve software and system performance, reliability, scalability, and latency across production and development fleets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, hardware vendors, and automotive partners to define requirements and integrate the autonomous driving stack.
- Participate in architecture reviews, testing, code reviews, documentation, and automotive software quality processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven embedded software development experience, preferably in automotive, autonomous driving, or robotics.
- Proficiency in C++ for high-performance systems.
- Hands-on experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux and QNX.
- Strong understanding of middleware architectures and IPC mechanisms.
- Proficiency with profiling and tracing tools, plus strong debugging skills.
- Familiarity with hardware abstraction layers and device driver development.
- Experience deploying autonomous vehicle, robotics, or other safety-critical software on production systems is desirable.
- Experience with NVIDIA Drive Orin, Qualcomm automotive platforms, inference, localisation, control algorithms, navigation, odometry, vehicle interfaces, platform SDKs, APIs, or software frameworks is desirable.
- Knowledge of LiDAR, RADAR, or camera sensor technologies is desirable.
- Understanding of safety-critical software development and automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and MISRA is desirable.
- Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
