Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of web and mobile applications using Flutter.
- Implement accessible, WCAG-compliant user interfaces across platforms.
- Establish browser and mobile data collection and frontend monitoring to diagnose performance bottlenecks and client-side bugs.
- Manage application submission, release, and maintenance processes for the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
- Architect state management, multi-package monorepos, and federated plugins for reusable web and mobile code.
- Write custom Method Channels to integrate Flutter with native iOS and Android APIs.
- Mentor software team members, conduct code reviews, and establish scalable coding practices.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to turn complex requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Deep expertise in Flutter for mobile and web application development.
- Advanced proficiency with BLoC, Riverpod, or Redux and the ability to justify architectural decisions.
- Understanding of the Flutter rendering pipeline and experience using DevTools to diagnose jank, memory leaks, and overdraw.
- Experience with custom Method Channels and native iOS or Android APIs using Swift or Kotlin.
- Experience architecting multi-package monorepos or federated plugins.
- Advanced knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards.
- Experience managing iOS and Android application submissions, releases, and maintenance.
- Experience with frontend monitoring and browser-level data for performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, mentor engineers, and communicate clearly.
- Familiarity with native iOS or Android development, design and user experience, micro-interactions, legacy-system migration, or scaling frontend architectures is preferred.
- Ability to work within driving distance of the Baltimore headquarters.
